Ardente Winery

We are passionate about coffee - from our slow roasting process to the proper method of preparation to the enjoyment of a freshly made cup sipped in the early morning hours. As you peruse these pages for useful information, we hope that will come to share our enthusiasm for this drink once described as "lovelier than a thousand kisses."

Making a great coffee starts with choosing the beans. We travel to coffee plantations all over the world to sample the finest beans (including those grown organically), and then bring the best back to our roasting facility.

Whenever possible, we make the effort to support farmers allied with the Fair Trade Certification program. And when we choose to make a decaf, we use only the most flavor-preserving methods available.

Finally, we slowly roast each bean variety separately over an oak wood fire and only afterward do we blend them. The care we take at each step along the way makes for an extraordinarily good coffee.
