Espresso di Carlo: Mild, sweet and well - balanced

This espresso scored 89 (of 100) points from Ken Davids in The Coffee Review. "Clean and elegant aroma with a shimmer of vanilla. Exciting. The contrast of pungent sharpness and underlying caramelly sweetness is dramatic. Blooms beautifully in milk, however, softening without losing authority and revealing deep, dry, bittersweet chocolate tones (January 1999)."

Gold Medal Blend: Our Chefs of America award-winning blend
$8.50 | Purchase Online | details

A rave review and a score of 89 (out of 100) points from Ken Davids in The Coffee Review. "The aroma is clean and high-toned with innuendo of fresh leather. The demitasse is complex but controlled, with a classic balance of sweetness and bitterness embellished by cocoa and nut notes and a crisp shimmer of acidity. In discreet amount of milk seductive with caramel and cocoa tones (August 2000)."

Organic Neapolitan Espresso: Intense and complex
$7.80 | Purchase Online | details

Ken Davids rated this espresso 85 out of 100 points in The Coffee Review. "The smoky tones are sweet and floral in the nose, but rather sharply pungent in the demitasse, where the flowers transform to pruny dry fruit with a hint of burned tones. Excellent in milk, which softens and sweetens the sharpness (August 2000)."
