Ardente Winery

Naturally, Carlo Di Ruocco is a collector. Tour this virtual gallery of his favorite antique espresso machines or come to our Showroom in Oakland to appreciate them in person.

One of the loveliest things about having a passion is watching it take fire in other people. Carlo Di Ruocco has been collecting vintage espresso machines for over thirty years. These are his favorites, for as many reasons as there are machines. Sometimes it's purely the nostalgic chrome, a vision of modernity that never seems to actually go out of style. Sometimes it's the place the design occupies in the pantheon of espresso machine technologyóthis was the first to have that amazing pump system, this was the first to allow the barista to steam milk at the same time. Whatever the reasons, they are here for you to appreciate.
